MEMBERSHIP FEATURES It is important you bring your membership card every times you visit ONE55 health & fitness, having your card ready will save you time so you can get top your workout faster! Entry will not be permitted if a member is without a current Membership Card. Lost cards may be replaced for a fee of $3.00 and can be purchased from Reception.

DIRECT DEBIT FEE We want to make sure you can keep working out with us here at ONE55 health & fitness, and provide you with the best facility. Please note that payments are taken out of your account fortnightly to guarantee your membership with us.

DRESS CODE Please ensure that you are suitably clothed at all times when exercising in studios or in the gymnasium. This means having correct fitness attire, including sports joggers, track pants or sports shorts, ladies tights, T-shirt or singlet tops must be worn at all times for safety and hygiene. Denim pants and slip on canvas shoes are not suitable gym attire and will not be permitted in the gym (must be fully enclosed – no thongs or sandals).

CODES OF CONDUCT A mandatory Code of Conduct must be adhered to by Members to maintain a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment. Members should respect the health & safety of each other whilst on the premises. All Members must comply with the Occupational Health & Safety requirements of the premises. Any signage outlining rules and regulations around the centre should be treated as part of the Code of Conduct. If a member is seen to be in breach of the Code of Conduct or failing to adhere to the rules and regulations then Management has the right to cancel the membership effective immediately.
LIMITED LIABILITY
- Members are solely responsible for their decision to participate in exercise and the level of intensity of the chosen activity.
- The Company, its agents and employees, will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to property belonging to the Member or any guest of the Member occurring on the Health & Fitness Centres premises.
- The Company, its agents and employees, will not be held responsible for any personal injury, illness or death resulting from the use of the facility and/or equipment provided in the centre, except to the extent that such occurred as a result of negligence on the part of the Company, its agents or employees.

HYGIENE & CLEANLINESS
To ensure we maintain a clean, comfortable and hygienic environment we ask that all members use a sweat towel at all times and wipe down equipment with disinfectant provided after each use.

TIME LIMITS Time limits will be placed on selected cardio equipment in peak periods. We ask that all members “work in” with each other on all resistance equipment in the event that there is more than one person requiring its use.
GROUP FITNESS CLASSES To ensure you get the most out of your workout we have set times for all of our classes. So, it’s important to ensure that you attend classes on time to participate in the warm up, and remain until the end to complete the appropriate stretch. Access to classes will be not permitted once the warm up period has finished.

KIDZ KORNER- CHILD MINDING A child minding service is available to Members at specified times during the centre’s operating hours. A nominal fee of $3.00 for the 1st child and $2.50 for 2+ children will be charged. There is an option to purchase a 20 visit pass for $40 from reception. These fees DO NOT APPLY to 6 and 12 Month Memberships.
Parents/Guardians must not leave the premises while using Kidz Korner and must familiarise themselves with and abide by the rules and regulations applicable to Kidz Korner. Bookings are subject to availability and strict time limits (90 mins) apply to ensure all members have access to the service equally and fairly.

EQUIPMENT All equipment must be replaced after use in all areas particularly free weights and benches. If participating in Group Fitness Classes any equipment used must be replaced to its designated storage areas prior to leaving the class.
WEIGHTS At ONE55 health & fitness your safety is very important to us. So help us out, by placing your weights away to avoid tripping hazards throughout the gym.

STEAM ROOMS/SPAS Members must shower before use and be clothed in swim wear. Children under the age of 14 years of age are not permitted to use the steam room and spa. Pregnant women and individuals with high blood pressure or open wounds should also refrain from using the steam room and spa. No food, soaps or oils are to be placed near or in the spa.
LOCKERS Lockers are provided for members to use at their own risk. While all care is taken to ensure the safety of belongings, the Company will not be held responsible or liable for any loss, damage or theft of belongings brought onto the premises. Lost keys will incur a cost of $20 to replace the barrel. Only Australian $2.00 coins to be used to operate the lockers
PARKING The Company will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or theft of belongings therein.
PROHIBITED Alcohol, smoking, illegal drugs and dangerous substances are prohibited on the premises and will be reported to police.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY Any members who cause damage to equipment or any property will be held liable. Members will be held responsible for any damages caused by guests or children.
EXPULSION AND/OR TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP Management reserves the right to terminate any membership if in its opinion: a) The conduct of the Member is detrimental to the centre or any other Member. b) The Member has breached the rules and regulations of the centre. c) The Member has continually defaulted in payments.
A Member whose membership has been terminated will forfeit all their entitlements of the membership with immediate effect and without claim for refund of any direct debit fees or administration fees. The Member shall pay the business all costs actually incurred by the Business in the recovery of any monies owed by the member, including recovery agent costs, repossession costs, location search costs, process server costs and solicitor costs on a solicitor/client basis. Note that the business will escalate defaulted payments to a Credit Agency which may affect the members credit rating.
HEALTH AND PHYSICAL CONDITION OF MEMBERS By signing the Membership Agreement the Member warrants that he/she is not aware of any medical or physical condition, which may preclude him/her from participating in exercise.
PRIVACY POLICY We abide by the National Privacy Policy Principles. A copy of the National Privacy Policy is available on request. No disclosure of information on our members is allowed, except in accordance with the privacy policy. We reserve the right to vary such policies, rules and regulations from time to time in a manner not inconsistent with membership. Please check the website regularly for these updates. |
