Your First Session
The first session at a gym can be daunting, even to the most seasoned gym junkie. During your first session at ONE55 health & fitness you can expect:
- A tour of the facility
- Instructions on how to use the exercise equipment
- An introduction to group classes, and
- A meet and greet with Personal Trainers
Fitness Assessment
A fitness assessment is available to all members. Fitness assessments are recommended in order to identify levels of fitness and set the platform for setting goals and objectives. Assessment updates are available every 6-8 weeks. Members will need to see the Fitness Services team at the Help Desk for bookings.
Induction Workshops
Regular Induction Workshops are scheduled on the Group Fitness Timetable to orientate new Members into the gym and provide them with basic instruction on the use of selected cardiovascular and resistance training equipment.
Circuit Classes
Timetabled Circuit Classes are conducted by Fitness Services Staff. These are suitable for beginner and intermediate members, and are designed to provide people who aren't Personal Training clients with a resistance training program to follow. The session involves instruction as well as participation on equipment to check for technique and strength.

The next stage is selecting the program that is best suited to your needs. Whether you choose to subscribe to a specifically tailored program with one of our Personal Trainers, or a generic fitness program, each one will be demonstrated thoroughly to you in a half hour session with a Trainer.
