A BODYPUMP™ class will challenge every single major muscle group to create the ultimate lean mean muscle machine! Focussing on full body exercises that sculpt your legs, chest, back, shoulders, and abs this class is designed to transform your body through strength and endurance in warp speed.
BODYPUMP™ with an average of 530 – 600 calories fried every class means you get into shape and feel confident super-fast with this power driven workout.
The Key The key to BODYPUMP™ is THE REP EFFECT™ - a breakthrough in fitness training focusing on high repetition movements with low weight loads. Using a barbell with weights and working major muscle groups with exercises like squats, presses and lifts you will perform 70-100 repetitions per body part for a whopping 800 repetitions in a single workout!
The latest chart topping tracks will keep you pumping hard with every- single -one of those 800 reps you do in this 60 minute power workout! To keep you motivated and challenged a new BODYPUMP™ class is released every 3 months with new music tracks and choreography. Your muscles will be screaming at you after this workout so don’t overdo it with the weights! For those who like to feel the pain to know you’re gettin’ the gain, then this class you will want to do again and again!
So start gradually then increase your weights at around the 6 week mark. The more you see your body sculpt the easier these classes will get! After your first few classes we recommend a maximum of 2 to 3 classes a week with a break in between to allow your muscles to recover.
What do I need to bring? Workout Clothes: Wear clothes you can sweat and move easily in. Les Mills recommend cross training shoes for this class. Water and a Towel: Bring a sweat towel and water to rehydrate
